After it arrives
Alterations
One round of alterations is included on every made-to-measure order, within 30 days, freight covered both ways.
What is included
One round, within 30 days of delivery, on every made-to-measure order. We send a return label, so the freight costs you nothing either way. If the piece still is not right after that round, write to us — we would rather sort it out than stand on the letter of a policy.
Why we alter instead of taking it back
Every garment is cut to one person's measurements. A piece made for you fits nobody else on the shelf, so there is no shelf to return it to — sending it back would mean it is destroyed, and you would still not have the thing you wanted. Altering it is the answer that ends with you wearing it.
So there are no returns and no refunds for fit. There is an alteration, at our cost, and it is included rather than sold to you.
How to ask
- Open the order in your account and request an alteration.
- Tell us what is wrong in plain words — "tight across the shoulders", "too long by about two inches". You do not need to diagnose it.
- We send a return label. Freight is covered both ways.
It re-enters production as a rework and you can follow it on the same order page as before. Most alterations take a week to ten days plus shipping.
What is not an alteration
We will happily change how a garment fits. We cannot turn one garment into a different one — a new neckline, a different fabric or a changed silhouette is a new piece, and we would rather make you that properly than cut up something you already own.
If something arrived wrong or damaged
That is not an alteration and not your problem to solve. Tell us within seven days of delivery and we remake it or refund you in full, whichever you prefer. A fault of ours is ours.
